Bear Make Den story time at the Little Bookroom in Melbourne

Jane and I had so much fun at the Little Bookroom this morning. We read Bear Make Den at a Teddy Bear’s picnic-inspired storytime. There were lots of children and lots of bears, and the event was co-ordinated and run by the best sport in the children’s book world, Leesa Lambert. Thanks Leesa and everyone who came along. - Leesa sure knows how to get the kids’ attention.
- Janie’s old teddy bear, Edwina, has been through a lot. At one stage she had to be fished out of a pond and hung up on the clothesline by an ear!
- My poor teddy ran away. I may have been a bit rough with him. (this bear is a stand-in)
- Getting right into it now – not sure what Leesa’s thinking.
- I might be getting a little carried away, but Leesa is maintaining her composure as always.
- Little Olivia being a superstar Bear – able to hammer, saw and paint simultaneously.
- And that was our Bear Make Den Storytime! Thanks everyone!
